Reggie Glover identified as body found in Jersey, stabbed 10 times but may not be cause of death
The body of man found near a New Jersey jogging trail had been identified by authorites as Reginald Glover from Philadelphia.
Reggie Glover was stabbed over 10 times and Camden County investigators are now saying Wednesday that the wounds may have occurred previously.
The autopsy showed that those wounds had been treated and sutured before his death.
“Ten to 11 stab wounds on the body led detectives to initially think the death was suspicious, but the autopsy revealed the stab wounds had been treated and sutured and are not believed to have contributed to his death,” the prosecutor’s office said in a statement.
The family has confirmed the identity of Glover, age 26, saying he had received the injuries a month prior.
Investigators are waiting for the toxicology report, which could take some time, to determine the exact cause of death.
