Red State’s Neil Stevens, Ben Howe says Trump supporters ‘deserved’ attack in San Jose
The vile vitriol of politics and the divisiveness helped garner much of the support for Donald Trump and Red State is fueling more as two of their writers claim that his supporters “deserved” the “street fighting” of the San Jose protest, comparing the GOP candidate to a “Nazi.” Neil Stevens and Ben Howe blamed the victims in the horrible riot and not the attackers.
Stevens complained on twitter that Trump supporters “deserve to be beaten” by the protesters, especially the illegal aliens burning the American flag, and that Trump is a “Nazi.”
You deserve to be beaten if you join a movement whose leader encourages the beating or protestors like “in the good old days.”

The Trump movement is no more civilized than the radicals protesting them. They deserve each other.

I warned you he was a Nazi. You didn’t listen. Now you have street fighting like Weimar Germany. #NeverTrump

Red State contributing editor Ben Howe sneered at a woman who supported Trump attacked by a mob.
And all she did was try to make America great again. https://t.co/brlz4aP99z

I don’t condone violence. But to pretend Trumpists & Trump himself haven’t cultivated a sub-culture of hatred & paranoia is delusional.

@ToniMZ81 no, and I’ve condemned the violence. I just don’t consider egging to be more than glitter bombing. @Jacobnbc

Plenty of unacceptable violence last night. But I’m sorry. I refuse to think of egging (a Halloween prank) as violence against women.

Stevens and Howe are following the shocking remarks by many others blaming Trump for protesters attacking his supporters. Howe eventually admitted that maybe he had let his anger get the best of him and immediately claimed his moral superiority over “Trumpists” for his “introspection.”
This is called introspection. Something Trumpists are incapable of. NEVER do it at their demand. Only if it’s real. https://t.co/gvj3iAoscy
