Ray Saiter identified as California man killed in murder suicide by Kim Weigant
The two people found dead in an apparent murder-suicide inside a California home over the weekend have been identified by the Sacramento County Coroner’s office.
Kimberly Ann Weigant, 54, and Ray Allen Saiter, 68, both of Galt, were found dead by police after Weigant’s daughter called 911 Saturday afternoon. The daughter stated that her mom confessed to killing Saiter, her boyfriend, and was going to kill herself, Galt Police Chief Dan Drummond said said.
Drummond said police were in front of the home and were speaking with Weigant to get her to come to the front door. She refused and then there was a delay in conversation and the sound of a single gunshot.
After a SWAT team investigated, officers found Saiter dead in a chair downstairs and Weigant dead in the master bedroom upstairs.
