Ralph Fiennes set to return as ‘M’ in new James Bond movie, will film in October
Specific details surrounding Bond 24, unofficial nickname for the next James Bond film, remain few and far between. Now star Ralph Fiennes has discussed the project briefly while speaking with MTV in a new interview.
“I haven’t read a script yet, so I can’t tell you much,” continues Fiennes. “They’d probably swear me to secrecy anyway.”
Fiennes is set to return as Gareth Mallory, the new “M” replacing Judi Dench’s character after her demise in Skyfall.
Fiennes was promoting his next film, Wes Anderson’s The Grand Budapest Hotel, he said that he knew nothing about the movie itself, but he did confirm he’s got some filming dates already marked in his calendar.
“It’s meant to start shooting in October,” Fiennes said.
Not surprising, Naomie Harris is also set to return as Moneypenny with Ben Whishaw as “Q”, both joining Daniel Craig in his fourth James Bond film.
Sam Mendes will be returning to the director’s chair (after some consideration) accompanied by Skyfall screenwriter John Logan.
This film and the next, Bond 25 are said to build on Skyfall – more on that report HERE
Bond 24 will open in theaters on November 6, 2015.
