Rachel Maddow lies and goes full 9/11 Truther conspiracy theory with report on Mueller report protests
On MSNBC Rachel Maddow reported the “Exclusive News” about a Thursday protest for the full Mueller report to be released, going full on conspiracy theory by supporting the dead issue.
Attorney General William Barr’s summary is NOT enough to end the belief that President Trump is a Russian agent or that Mueller just MISSED it, despite promising to publish a redacted report.
Barr quoted the law which bans the full report from public viewing, but Maddow reports on this as though this is a cover-up and NOT the law. Check out the clip below and the press release of the group organizing their protest.
“We can report that the Trump is Not Above the Law Coalition is planning over 175 protests all over the country on Thursday,” Maddow says, propping up the “big name organizations” of far left groups who opening hate Trump.
Maddow reports that these groups, this coalition, planned these protests if Trump “went after the Mueller investigation” in advance.
Tim Pool reported that it is fair to want to see the report, but points out that Mueller is working with Barr. He quotes a new Fact Check on that Maddow report, reading “Maddow contradicted her show’s own graphic running along the bottom of the screen while talking about special counsel Robert Mueller’s final report.”
“BARR: SPECIAL COUNSEL IS ASSISTING WITH REDACTIONS,” was seen at the bottom of the screen, while Maddow said: “It is hard to believe that they’d leave the newly appointed 68-year-old Attorney General William Barr to himself [to] personally pick through the report to try to figure out what mentions in this 400-page report might pertain to open cases.”
They wouldn’t leave that to Barr to do that, Mueller would have done that. Mueller’s team would have done that as part of producing anything that they handed over outside their own offices. They’ve done that with every other document they have produced,” Maddow said. “… But William Barr says it’s taking him a really long time because he’s having to do all that himself.”
Aaron Mate, of the left-wing magazine The Nation, tweeted a clip of the video with the caption: “Tip for @Maddow: if you’re going to keep misleading your audience, make sure your producers aren’t correcting you in real-time. Here, the chyron accurately states Friday’s news Mueller is ‘assisting’ Barr w/ redactions. Meanwhile, @Maddow is falsely claiming the exact opposite.”
Pool says they’re still demanding this, there is going to be a nationwide protest, likening the Maddow reporting as though a 9/11 Truther was propped up in this manner.
Pool then lists the motivations of the coalition, setting off protests if Trump fires Mueller, pardons key witnesses, action which would prevent the investigation from being conducted freely, replacing Rod Rosenstein, repeal regulations establishing the office or “blocks the public from seeing Mueller’s finding.”
To Pool, the “whole thing is just generally anti-Donald Trump sentiment. They don’t like Trump. They wanted him to be Russian, so they can be removed from office and, in my opinion, Rachel Maddow is just doing this for ratings.”

BREAKING: 4/1/19
We are calling for a National Day of Action on Thursday, April 4, to demand that Attorney General William Barr #ReleaseTheReport if he fails to meet the deadline set by Congressional leaders of Tuesday, April 2. Barr has offered an alternate timeline for a redacted version of the report—but we deserve the full report and Congressional leaders and the American people expect it now. Find an event near you and RSVP to join the local action.
It’s possible you have signed up at Nobody Is Above the Law previously but do not see the local event you expected on this map. Please search for other events near you—or return to this site as more actions will also come online up until Thursday.
