President Trump approved disaster relief for Hawaii, recovering from Hurricane Lane

The Federal Emergency Management Agency announced today that federal disaster assistance has been made available to the state of Hawaii to supplement state and local recovery efforts in the areas affected by Hurricane Lane on August 22 to August 29, 2018.

Federal funding is also available to the state and local governments, and certain private nonprofit organizations on a cost-sharing basis for emergency work and the repair or replacement of facilities damaged by Hurricane Lane in Hawaii, Kauai, and Maui counties.
