President Obama enjoys Father’s Day by playing water guns with his daughters, no injuries were reported

Wishing Americans a happy Father’s Day, the White House tweeted a picture of President Obama and one of his daughters playing with toy water pistols.

The Tweet comes at a time when several schools around the country seem sensitive to even allow children to play with water guns.

One school in California made the headlines by offering a toy gun buyback program to get those water guns off of the street.

Principal Chris Hill, who organized the event, explained that toy guns desensitize kids toward gun violence.

“Playing with toys guns, saying ‘I’m going to shoot you,’ desensitizes them, so as they get older, it’s easier for them to use a real gun.”

Earlier this year, a California activist named Jerry Rubin ramped up his efforts to dissuade parents from buying toy guns for their children.

Children who bring toy guns to school have met with severe punishments as of late. A Maryland kindergartner who took his cap gun on the bus was interrogated by administrators until he peed his pants, and then suspended for 10 days.

Obama lets his daughters shoot at him with water pistols, school administrators should consider easing up on their anti-toy gun hysteria, wrote Yih-Chau Chang, a spokesperson for Responsible Citizens of California.

ONLINE, I SAW A PHOTOGRAPH OF THE KENYAN SHIRTLESS AND WEARING SHORTS. IN THE PHOTOGRAPH ACCOMPANYING THIS ARTICLE, YOU SEE THE KENYAN’S LEFT KNEE [AND, SURROUNDING SKIN] AND HIS RIGHT HEEL/ANKLE [AND, SURROUNDING SKIN].

MY POINT IS, PHOTOGRAPHY HAS NEVER CORRECTLY PORTRAYED NEGROES [the film ALWAYS depicts us as being darker than we really are]. ON TELEVISION, THE KENYAN LOOKS LIKE A LIGHT-SKINNED NEGRO. THE REASON WHY I POINTED-OUT THE KENYAN’S TORSO [IN THE OTHER PHOTOGRAPH I SAW] AND HIS KNEE/HEEL/ANKLE IN THIS PHOTOGRAPH IS BECAUSE THESE PHOTOGRAPHS SHOW THE KENYAN IS BIRACIAL – AND NOT, FULL NEGRO. [The “redness” – created from under-skin blood vessels – “shows-up” more clearly on biracial people, than it does on light-skinned Negroes].

IN REFERENCE TO THE WATER GUN, THAT IS A NON-STORY. BOYS SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO PLAY WITH WATER- AND OTHER PLASTIC-GUNS.
