President Obama doesn’t have speech waiting for him, calls for his ‘People’ VIDEO

President Obama was caught without his prepared remarks Friday afternoon, leading him a bit speechless as he called for his aides to frantically find a paper copy of his statement.

Obama, who rarely goes off script during his statements, acknowledged to his San Jose, Calif., audience that he couldn’t make a speech without the prepared version in front of him.

“I want to thank everybody who’s here. I think there’s only one problem, and that is that my remarks are not sitting here,” Obama said.

“People!” (not once, but twice) was the call for help.

“By Friday afternoon, things get a little challenged,” Obama joked.

“People!” Obama called again.

The aide with the privilege of sprinting the remarks to the president can then be heard tripping off camera.

“Somebody’s tripping,” Obama remarked. “Folks are sweating back there right now,” he laughed.

Some on the Internet painted an angry tone. Watch the video to decide for yourself.
