Law enforcement detailed the shooting in Evans, in the 2400 block of Marina Street. Police confirmed that they arrived at the home after being told by Perrin’s employer that he had missed work and was “having personal issues,” police said.

Police say they don’t know why Perrin shot his wife and daughter.

“There has been no evidence discovered or indication that any other party was involved in this incident other than the above listed individuals,” police said. “At this time, the investigation is continuing.”

Natayla Perrin was flown to Denver Health with severe head trauma. The woman, who was interviewed by a detective last week, remained at the hospital Tuesday.

Police say no further information will be released in the case until final interviews and reports are completed. They did confirm that there does not appear to be anyone else involved in the shooting.

“There has been no evidence discovered or indication that any other party was involved in this incident other than the above listed individuals,” police said. “At this time, the investigation is continuing.”

“Our precious angel we love you Danika,” a classmate wrote on Danika’s old’s Facebook page.

“May you find eternal rest lil one. Have fun in heaven kiddo,” another friend wrote.
