Piers Morgan picks a twitter fight with Ben Shapiro over the Constitution

Morgan made this statement: “Have you studied the history of 2A? Try reading up on it. It was never intended to mean an individual’s right to bear arms – outside of a ‘well regulated militia’. https://t.co/Xb6w9gGAbd” — Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) April 2, 2018
The attacks then came, referring to the 2013 debate in which Shapiro handed Morgan a copy of the Constitution, which Morgan referred to as a “silly little book”: “Hopefully you kept that “silly little book” @benshapiro gave you on set- it would come in handy now. https://t.co/57DDpLwiz9″ — Jeremy Frankel (@FrankelJeremy) April 3, 2018
Morgan decided to launch a personal attack on Shapiro, who wasn’t even involved at this point.
“What was silly about it was the size, like its owner. I prefer my copies of the Constitution, and my political pundits, to be substantial. https://t.co/97EmPjTU7p” — Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) April 3, 2018
