Peta launches new adult version website to raise animal abuse awareness
People for ethical treatment of animals (Peta) has launched Peta.xxx, an adult version of its regular website Peta.org in a bid to raise awareness about animal abuse.
Peta has coordinated with several global celebrities, including Pamela Anderson, Mallika Sherawat, Drew Barrymore, Alec Baldwin, John Gielgud, Bill Maher, Stella McCartney, and Alicia Silverstone to shed all or most of their clothes in order to support the cause of putting an end to cruelty against animals.
The animal rights group has shed its inhibitions once again by launching PETA.xxx, a site featuring adult content and animal rights messages, all in one place. The .xxx domain has been recently reserved for sites containing adult content, and in launching Peta.xxx, the organization claims they will be spreading its animal rights message.
Noted porn star Ron Jeremy, says on the site that “this is the perfect example of sex just being used to draw interest, and then once you’re there on the site, we’re going to hit you with facts that you need to know about the world of animals.”
PETA.xxx hosts a slew of images of scantily clad models advertising pro-vegan slogans and asking website visitors to stop wearing fur.
“We know that there’s more to life than sex and that you have multiple interests. Now it’s time to see a few PETA videos considered so ‘hardcore’ and so ‘offensive’ that no TV stations have dared to run them,” reads a statement on the page that lures viewers in with what looks to be a promise of pornographic footage. What they are offered instead, though, is an 11-minute long expose entitled ‘Meet Your Meat’ that is narrated by none other than actor Alex Baldwin.
Peta.XXX also features videos of adult film actress Jenna Jameson discussing the power of the soybean.
Nowhere, however, will you find any full-frontal nudity.
