‘Once Upon a Time’ season 3 wraps, Ginnifer Goodwin talks Josh Dallas wedding, name the baby
Snow White gets Prince Charming and fans of “Once Upon a Time” seem to embraced the real-life love affair between stars Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas, who tied the knot two days after production wrapped.
On Wednesday’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!, a pregnant Goodwin opened up about the details of the ceremony, noting, “I married Prince Charming.” Goodwin says it was a “very, very small wedding,” but her and Dallas’ “many parents” all came out for the ceremony as did her childhood rabbi, who officiated.
Despite being eight months pregnant and recently having finished her work on the latest season of “Once,” Goodwin said her wedding day was “the most stress-free, relaxing, beautiful day.”
There was one slight hiccup, though. The morning of her wedding, Goodwin’s wedding planner phoned her in tears to tell her that her ketubah, a Jewish wedding contract, was stolen when the wedding planner’s car was robbed.
Kimmel said her baby will have the “greatest” surname. “Naming a child, though, with the last name of Dallas is a little more complicated,” Goodwin explained. They refuse to pick a “first name that begins with a D,” she said, “because it gets porn-y. And nothing geographical because it sounds like an airport.” Dallas, however, had hoped otherwise. “He was like, ‘Boy or girl, Austin Dallas.’ I was like, ‘That is an actual place where planes land. We can’t do that,'” the Something Borrowed star said.
“You’re wrong,” Kimmel corrected her. “It is not. It would have to be a very, very big plane.”
Once Upon a Time airs Sundays on ABC at 8pm.
