‘Once Upon a Time’ season 3 preview: One year later, the Wicked Witch and Josh Dallas talks

Fans are clamoring after the climax as the fall finale of Once Upon a Time and Captain Hook appearing at Emma’s door. While details are still sketchy, the role of the Wicked Witch is set to be important and star Josh Dallas explains Charming and Snow White situation.

Once Upon a Time season 3 Captain Hook Emma“When we get back to fairytale land, Neal is determined to go find Emma, but Charming and Snow just want their daughter to be happy,” Dallas says, speaking in a new interview with TVLine.

“So they try to say, ‘Look, this is where we live now. This is what we have and that [other realm] is where she and Henry are. We have to let them go.’”

Creators Adam Horowitz and Eddie Kitsis explain the “Ruby slippers” and Regina’s response when they are mentioned back in episode five.

“The ruby slippers may have been a false road because, in the books, they were silver slippers,” said Horowitz with confirmation that Once will be “sticking to the book for legal reasons,” confirms Kitsis.

There will be time jump with characters back in Storybrooke, including the Wicked Witch’s counterperson, but may be quite the deceiver.

She “is seemingly a kindred spirit to Snow White, which is part of what makes her so evil … She seems so genuinely kind and has a way of becoming intimate with others and making them trust her,” Ginnifer Goodwin tells TV Line.

“…. Rebecca Mader called her ‘Mary Poppins,’ because she was just so damn likeable!’”

Of course, there are also rumors of Glinda the Good Witch joining the cast as well, more on that HERE

Once Upon a Time returns March 9 on ABC at 8pm.
