Official update: ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ will arrive next December
The news was “It’s a wrap” as the JJ Abrams led Star Wars: Episode VII officially wrapped production and Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher officially headed home as fans go crazy over the upcoming film.
Now the film gets an official title and banner, from their official Twitter page:

Slash Film noted that “according to this Twitter user, Disney didn’t register the domains until today, Thursday November 6, so as to keep the reveal a surprise. www.theforceawakens.com doesn’t yet take you to StarWars.com”
Making Star Wars reports this spoiler: Luke Skywalker’s role inStar Wars Episode VII. According to their findings, between films, Luke has become the most powerful Jedi ever. So powerful in fact, he’s scared of what he can do. It’s that power and that potential to turn to the dark side that makes him go into hiding. He hasn’t been captured but he will play a major role.
There are rumors that a short teaser will land before the ends of the year, so fan hype may go through the roof.
