Nicolle Wallace on media coverage, comparisons between Cecil the Lion and Planned Parenthood – ‘disgrace to Cecil’

The View‘s “conservative voice” Nicolle Wallace spoke out on the media’s coverage of the Cecil the Lion shooting death and the coverage of Planned Parenthood.

During the discussion, co-host Raven Symoné declared that “people for #BlackLivesMatter are outlash – are backlashing too, because they said ‘it’s a lion, but when we tried to start a movement, it didn’t get as much hoopla.’ And I don’t believe that’s true.”

Wallace then responded that “it goes both ways. Conservatives are making the same point about Planned Parenthood, but I think that’s a disgrace to Cecil the Lion.”

Critics are wondering how the media coverage is shaming the death of a 13-year-old lion in Africa on a legal animal hunt is being shamed by undercover videos outing the bloody and gruesome abortion practices of Planned Parenthood.

Wallace went on to say that what she couldn’t wrap her “brain around is how a human being stares at a creature that majestic and pulls [the trigger].”

Many people may agree, but they may also ask how a human being can look at a tiny, helpless, pre-born infant and dissect its limbs for scientific use.
