New trailer for ‘Iron Fist’ gives an overview of Danny Rand’s journey, ‘The Final Defender’
The Marvel Netflix series will continue to expand with Iron Fist and Netflix has released a new trailer for the upcoming show.
The origin story will sound a lot like that of Oliver Queen’s story on Arrow. Finn Jones’ Danny Rand returns to his billionaire lifestyle 15 years after surviving a plane crash which killed his parents. Rand’s martial arts training was on a remote island (sound familiar) and now he’s return to run his father’s company and deal with the corruption of the city as a superhero – Green Arrow…er, Iron Fist.
“The Final Defender” arrives comes up on screen and alludes to the next series: The Defenders – a team-up of all of these heroes: Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist.
Fans get an overview with this trailer and footage, plenty of blood and clearly confirms the intensity of Farren Blackburn’s episode 7, which is 18 for ‘strong bloody violence’ in Europe.
Jones is joined by Rosario Dawson and Carrie-Anne Moss, both reprising their roles from the previous Netflix projects. Alongside Jones will be Jessica Henwick as Colleen Wing, a significant role which will also appear in The Defenders.
David Wenham stars as Harold Meachum, the former business partner of Danny’s late parents. Jessica Stroup and Tom Pelphrey also star in Iron Fist as Joy and Ward Meachum, Harold’s kids and Danny’s childhood acquaintances.
Iron Fist is available for streaming on Netflix March 17, 2017.
Here’s the official synopsis for Iron Fist:
