New ‘Taken 3’ clip, poster confirm the end for Liam Neeson’s journey
20th Century Fox just released a new Taken 3 clip and poster from director Olivier Megaton‘s action sequel starring Liam Neeson as Bryan Mills, an ex-CIA operative with a “particular set of skills.” This time Franck Dotzler (Forest Whitaker) doesn’t quite know what, or who, he’s facing.
The film kills off Lenore (Famke Janssen) right in the begining and Mills’ horrifically violent actions lead authorities to believe Mills is responsible.
Back in August it was reveals that Mills was going to be framed for murder.
According to Manly Movie. “Brian Mills will get framed for murder,” it says in the site. “Pursued by police, Bryan rendezvous’ with his daughter, Maggie, in the women’s restroom during her class at UCLA. The police discover his whereabouts and attempt to apprehend him at the university. Bryan sets off a flash grenade in a classroom, setting off the school’s fire sprinkler system, creating havoc and allowing his escape.”
This aligns with comments made by Luc Besson on the film: “It’s different, but it’s very good. It’s probably the best of the three for me, in terms of the script. The first one was really not pretentious. It was a small film. We were surprised by the success of it because it was honest. Liam [Neeson] was not a super kick-ass actor.”
The film co-stars Maggie Grace, Dougray Scott, Sam Spruell, Leland Orser and Whitaker, Tak3n will open in theaters on January 8, 2015.

Liam Neeson returns as ex-covert operative Bryan Mills, whose reconciliation with his ex-wife is tragically cut short when she is brutally murdered.
