New set photo spoils Hayley Atwell role in ‘Captain America The Winter Soldier’

Cleveland is ground zero for the production of Marvel’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier. While the focus has been on Sebastian Stan returning as the Winter Soldier, fans can now learn of Hayley Atwell’s appearance in the film. SPOILER ALERT

While it’s indeed a spoiler, it’s likely not key to the story or plot of the film.

The local Patch writer discussed how the production had transformed a local home for the filming and discussed how the set photos were taken.

“…the home is being converted into a nursing home where Cap, played by Chris Evans, is visiting with his fellow World War II veterans.”

Atwell was the love interest in the first film and confirmed that she would be appearing in the sequel. Stanley Tucci had stated that this would be in the form of a flashback scene, more here.

The house in Cleveland Heights is for sale (first time in 55 years according to the Patch writer) and was transformed into the setting for Winter Soldier.
