New ‘Red 2’ clips pits Bruce Willis against Helen Mirren with a talented cast

Summit released six new clips for Red 2, heading into the press junket and kicking the promotion into high gear.

Collider pieced them together for easier viewing, see below.

Director Dean Parisot’s (Galaxy Quest) upcoming action-comedy sequel follows the ex-CIA operative Frank Moses (Bruce Willis) against Victoria (Helen Mirren) when MI6 greenlights his assassination as Interpol’s “Most Wanted.”

All the while, Moses and his team work to track down a missing nuclear device.

Collider describes the clips, saying “The new clips continue to make the film look like a lot of fun, especially with regards to the very promising interplay between the pic’s talented cast members.”

Red 2 also stars John Malkovich, Mary-Louise Parker, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Byung Hun Lee, and Anthony Hopkins.

Red 2 opens on July 19th.

Here’s the official plot synopsis for Red 2:

In RED 2, the high-octane action-comedy sequel to the worldwide sleeper hit, retired black-ops CIA agent Frank Moses reunites his unlikely team of elite operatives for a global quest to track down a missing portable nuclear device. To succeed, they’ll need to survive an army of relentless assassins, ruthless terrorists and power-crazed government officials, all eager to get their hands on the next-generation weapon. The mission takes Frank and his motley crew to Paris, London and Moscow. Outgunned and outmanned, they have only their cunning wits, their old-school skills, and each other to rely on as they try to save the world-and stay alive in the process.
