New radio show, ‘Outbreak News This Week’ to premiere Saturday on the Tan Talk Network
The Global Dispatch is proud to announce its next media venture- a new, niche radio program geared toward news and information about infectious diseases.
The show, Outbreak News This Week will feature the latest news and expert guests to discuss the biggest stories of the week.
Whether it be foodborne illnesses, novel viruses, new research, sexually transmitted infections or the latest parasite outbreak, Outbreak News This Week, will be there to cover the story.
Outbreak News This Week will be hosted by The Global Dispatch’s co-founder Robert Herriman.
His guests for the inaugural show include:
- Dr. Carol Pandak, Director, PolioPlus with Rotary International to discuss the global polio situation and,
- Dr. Kristy Murray, Associate professor and associate vice chair of research in the department of pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine and director of the Laboratory of Viral and Zoonotic Diseases at Texas Children’s Hospital to talk about the retrospective study on dengue fever in Houston.
