The Wolverine has released a pair of brand new posters online Monday morning, Hugh Jackman as the popular X-Men character surrounded by ninjas and the other has Wolverine against the Tokyo skyline.

Bloody claws excited fans, who will now be clamoring over new posters for “The Wolverine”
The new film will follow the events of X-Men: The Last Stand as Logan is searching for a new life in Japan separate from his X-Men teammates. Logan falls in love but things get complicated as it is reveals that her father is the head of a powerful Yakuza crime gang.
“I’m thrilled the studio called it The Wolverine instead of Wolverine 2, because we’re trying to set it up as a standalone picture,” Jackman told Total Film. “Tonally, it’s different from the other X-Men movies. It’s got massive action sequences, as people would expect, and it’ll be great fun. But it is a character-driven movie. It’s about a guy completely out of his element, in this world that’s foreign to him, and how he copes with that. I feel like we have the opportunity to deliver that badass, kick-ass Wolverine I know everybody wants to see.”
The Wolverine will be directed by James Mangold, co-starring Rila Fukushima, Will Yun Lee and Tao Okamoto.
The film is set to arrive in theates July 26, 2013.
