New Photos of ‘X-Men First Class’ star Michael Fassbender in ‘Prometheus’
One of the highlights in 2011 was Michael Fassbender in “Shame” and the X-Men reboot “X-Men First Class” in which Fassbender portrayed a young Magneto. Now, after the trailer landed, some photos of the star are now hitting the net.
Fassbender plays David, a “synthetic” which a key element in the Ridley Scott “Alien” franchise.
While it’s unclear how the Xenomorph creatures or the HR Giger designs will be integrated into “Prometheus”, the parallels to the original “Alien” trailer is uncanny.

Early in production news it was reported that Ridley Scott will be using an eight-foot tall animatronic Space Jockey in “Prometheus” that has been designed under the supervision of HR Giger yet all the famed director would say:
“We had a good relationship with Giger for many years. We showed him the script for [Prometheus] and he liked it. He’s going to work a bit for me with this movie and has been working on a major project that comes in the film.”
“Prometheus” comes to theaters June 8 and joining Fassbender are Noomi Rapace, Charlize Theron, Idris Elda, Guy Pearce, Patrick Wilson, Rafe Spall, Sean Harris.
