New ‘Monsters University’ arrives from the UK, focuses on ‘scaring’ classes
A new UK trailer for Disney/Pixar‘s Monsters University debuted on Friday.
This one focuses on Mike (Billy Crystal) and Sulley (John Goodman) as they study to become “scarers.”
It also introduces Helen Mirren’s Dean Hardscrabble.
The sequel to the 2001 smash hit Monsters Inc. flashes back to the two monsters first meeting at college, roughly ten years before the first film. Mike and Sulley are rivals and grow into friends. A ton of new monsters are onboard as well: Art (Charlie Day), Don Carlton (Joel Murray), Terri and Terry Perry (Dave Foley and Sean Hayes), and Scott Squibbles (Pete Sohn).
The official synopsis: Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan are an inseparable pair, but that wasn’t always the case. From the moment these two mismatched monsters met they couldn’t stand each other. “Monsters University” unlocks the door to how Mike and Sulley overcame their differences and became the best of friends. – IMDB
Steve Buscemi, John Krasinski, Nathan Fillion and Alfred Molina also star.
