New ‘Jurassic World’ teases fate of theme park guests
The Walking Dead season 5 finale proved to be the perfect time for Universal to release a new TV spot teaser for this summer’s Jurassic World.
The film picks up 22 years after the original Jurassic Park, with a fully functional dinosaur theme park built on the island of Isla Nubar. When attendance begins to decline, the corporate overlords behind the park commission the creation of a genetically modified Velociraptor hybrid; predictably, the new beast proves to be far more intelligent than its creators intended, and all hell breaks loose.
This new TV spot builds on the footage fans have already seen as the chaotic events involve innocent tourists being plucked from the air by rampaging Pterosaurs.
Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt stars with Bryce Dallas Howard (The Help, The Village) with Nick Robinson (The Kings Of Summer) and Ty Simpkins (Iron Man 3) set to play brothers Zach and Gray.
Judy Greer (Archer, Two and a Half Men) and Andy Buckley (The Office) will be playing their parents.
B.D. Wong, a scientist from the 1993 film who has found his way back onto the research team to reprise is role as Dr. Henry Wu.
Vincent D’Onofrio (Daredevil) and Irrfan Khan (Life Of Pi) share the bad guy roles with Jake Johnson, Omar Sy and Brian Tee also starring.
