New ‘Grand Theft Auto 5’ trailer becomes viral video, getting over 1 million views per day, game arrives in September
Rockstar has released three new trailers for Grand Theft Auto V with each trailer focusing on one of the game’s protagonists: Michael, Franklin, and Trevor. The YouTube trailer now crossed over the 4 million viewer mark on May 3 which debuted earlier this week.
Players are likely aware that they will be able to switch between the characters at any point, and as you can see from Trevor’s trailer, there will be some interaction between the protagonists at least as far as Michael and Trevor are concerned.
The trailers also features the Grand Theft Auto V version of Los Santos and the different tones. For example, Michael and Trevor are more on the comic side of the GTA world while Franklin is off in an urban drama.
Fans are eager to discover how the three “storylines” meld into one cohesive game.
The game will be available on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
Grand Theft Auto V will be released on September 17th.
Here’s the official synopsis for Grand Theft Auto V:
Los Santos: a sprawling sun-soaked metropolis full of self-help gurus, starlets and fading celebrities, once the envy of the Western world, now struggling to stay afloat in an era of economic uncertainty and cheap reality TV. Amidst the turmoil, three very different criminals plot their own chances of survival and success: Franklin, a former street gangster, now looking for real opportunities and serious money; Michael, a professional ex-con whose retirement is a lot less rosy than he hoped it would be; and Trevor, a violent maniac driven by the chance of a cheap high and the next big score. Running out of options, the crew risks everything in a series of daring and dangerous heists that could set them up for life.
