New ‘Captain America The Winter Soldier’ trailer, photos and posters
Marvel’s full two and a half minute trailer for Captain America: The Winter Soldier debuted at the start of the Super Bowl to go with their 30-second Big Game spot.
Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, and Samuel L. Jackson star in a new cast poster while Robert Redford gets his own poster as well.
There’s tons of new footage and some plot details revealed in the Winter Soldier storyline.
The film picks up after the battle of New York in The Avengers. Steve Rogers is still struggling to fit into the modern world as he works with S.H.I.E.L.D. to keep the earth safe.
Directed by Anthony Russo and Joe Russo from a screenplay by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, Captain America: The Winter Soldier features the aforementioned Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, and Samuel L. Jackson, in addition to Cobie Smulders, Emily VanCamp, Hayley Atwell, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Frank Grillo, Toby Jones, Garry Shandling, and Jenny Agutter.
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid and The Sting veteran Redford is making his first appearance ever in a super-hero movie.
