Nancy Pelosi body shames grandson in racist reveal of his ‘birthday wish’ to have brown skin, eyes
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi gave an eight-hour speech in support of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipients on Wednesday that included a story about her grandson wishing he was Hispanic.
The California leftist Democrat recounted a story that the boy had “a very close friend named Antonio,” who came from Guatemala. “He has beautiful tan skin, beautiful brown eyes and the rest,” she said of her grandson’s friend.
When he blew out the candles on his cake for his sixth birthday, the boy said “I wish I had brown skin and brown eyes like Antonio.”
According to Pelosi, that was a wonderful statement.
“This was such a proud day for me because when my grandson blew out the candles on his cake, they said, ‘Did you make a wish?’… He said, ‘I wish I had brown skin and brown eyes like Antonio.’ So beautiful, so beautiful. The beauty is in the mix,” she told her House colleagues.
“The face of the future for our country is all-American, and that has many versions,” she added.

Tucker Carlson reacted to the “striking” statement, asking whether Pelosi believes it’s “healthy to hate yourself for the way God made you.”
“If you want to live in a country where everyone doesn’t hate everyone else for the color of their skin, you ought not to say things like that. Democrats should stop talking like this in public,” he said.
