Mosab Hassan Yousef, ‘Son of Hamas’ author, says they don’t ‘care about Palestinians, Israelis or Americans’

The son Hamas founder and author of Son of Hamas is speaking out against the terrorist group and details their teachings, hatred of others, “Hamas does not care about the lives of Palestinians, does not care about the lives of Israelis or Americans.”

mosab hassan Yousef-son-of-HamasMosab Hassan Yousef  is the son of one of the Hamas founders and has since converted to Christianity and authored the book Son of Hamas. Youcef spoke out against the terrorist group in a new CNN interview.

“Hamas does not care about the lives of Palestinians, does not care about the lives of Israelis or Americans. They don’t care about their own lives. They consider dying for the sake of their ideology a way of worship,” Yousef said to host Don Lemon.

“Hamas is not seeking coexistence and compromise. Hamas is seeking conquest and taking over. And by the way, the destruction of the State of Israel is not Hamas’s final destination. Hamas final destination is building the Islamic caliphate, which means an Islamic state under rubble of every other civilization.”

Yousef was raised through childhood to become a Hamas militant, but he became disenchanted with the mission of the group and converted Christianity, losing everything he had in the process.

“In the mosques, Hamas taught us that without shedding innocent blood for the sake of the ideology, we wouldn’t be able to build an Islamic state. They were preparing us from the age as young as five years old. This is the ideology that Hamas was feeding us. And honestly it’s impossible almost for anybody to break through and see the truth and real face of Hamas and be able to leave at some point. As you see in my case, I had to lose everything just to say no to Hamas. And today when I look at the children of Gaza and I know what they’re fed, I know that they have no choice,” Yousef said.

NOTE: Some are very skeptical of Mosab’s authenticity, believing instead that he is attempting to infiltrate the U.S.

On the Arabic-language show Daring Question, Mosab wore the symbol of pro-Palestine advocates, the kaffiyeh:

With a balanced approach I discuss the life of the Palestinian child under the Israeli occupation, of course my life suffered under all the problems of murder and the criminal operations that were carried out by the Israeli occupation against my people, my family, myself, and against humanity
