Morgan Freeman excited about ‘Dark Knight Rises,’ ‘really good stuff’ for Fox
Morgan Freeman is promoting the film “Born to be Wild”, a new nature 3D IMAX movie, in which Freeman provides the narration. During interviews Friday and Saturday, Freeman has conducted interviews answering questions about “The Dark Knight Rises” as well.
“The most exciting thing about it is watching the openings, I’m telling you. Doing it, it’s fun to work with Chris Nolan. He’s really a terrific writer, a terrific director. One of those highlights of your career”, conveying how excited he is to return for the third installment in the Nolan series of Batman films.
“(I’m thrilled because) we enjoy working together,” Freeman said. “Chris Nolan sets up a great atmosphere.”
Coming Soon attempted to get more details from the seasoned actor asking if there was some interesting “stuff” planned for Freeman’s character Lucius Fox: “Oh, yeah – really good stuff!”
Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman and Nestor Carbonell are all set to return and will reprise their respective roles from “Dark Knight.” Tom Hardy and Anne Hathaway has been cast as the film’s villains with Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Josh Pence, Joey King all newcomers for “Rises.”
“Dark Knight Rises” comes to theaters July 20, 2012.
