Missouri murder suicide: Family identified as Yolanda Novoa, Ylineh Novoa and Giovanni Novoa
Police in Missouri are investigating a shocking murder suicide which ended with an entire family dead, including 6-year-old Ylineh Novoa.
Authorities detailed that they received a call just before 12:30 p.m. requesting a welfare check in the 1400 block of East Duchesne in Florissant. Officers arrived and found three dead inside the home in an apparent murder suicide.
“There was a gun located next to one of the deceased,” said Steve Michael, with the Florissant Police Dept., “they were all located in the same part of the house so at this point we believe it was a domestic incident.”
Police said there was no sign of forced entry.
The victims have now been identified as Yolanda Novoa, 29, Giovanni Novoa, 31, and their daughter Novoa.
Authorities released no other details in the case but said it is being investigated as a murder-suicide.
