Mike Weaver previews Big Daddy Weave’s ‘My Story Tour’ ‘Beautiful Offerings’ World Vision
After the highly successful, award-winning album Love Come to Life, Big Daddy Weave is back with Beautiful Offerings and Mike Weaver talked with Dispatch Radio about the new album, following the success of Redeemed, supporting outreaches and just some fun stories.
“It came from really seeing where the Lord took us next,” Mike says of Beautiful Offerings and how the new album continues the theme and sound from Love Come to Life and those hit songs. “Where does this redeemed life take us and what does it look like?”
Immediately the song My Story found an audience and the album went to #4 on the Christian Billboard chart.
“As the Lord began to move…as the stories came back to us,” he said of creating Beautiful Offerings and capturing what the Lord is doing. “We’re in pursuit of Him….He doesn’t give up on us…to call us into more.”
Mike is a passionate artist, sharing great insight and powerful analogies to capture the power of the Lord in their music and lives. He turns to praise Jason Gray and Citizen Way, being a part of the My Story Tour. He shares stories, co-hosting a New Year’s Eve event with Matthew West, telling fun stories of “killing time” before plugging the impactful work of World Vision.
