Michelle Collins on ‘The Views’ says Ted Cruz has ‘crazy moral code’ and would love ‘satisfying’ to see him ruined

While discussing unfounded rumors on infidelity circulated by the National Enquirer about Republican presidential candidate and Texas Senator Ted Cruz, co-host Michelle Collins says Cruz lives by a “crazy moral code” and bantered with Candace Cameron Bure about Christian faith and not wanting to see someone fail.

Collins also said it would be “satisfying” if the Enquirer was accurate after throwing a backhanded insult at “who would sleep with” Ted Cruz.

“There are always scandals though. I mean listen, this is—it happened with the Democrats too. There are always cheating scandals. And I’ve—I for one hope it is true because, not only would I like to see which five women would want to sleep with Ted Cruz, which would be fascinating – [Laughter]. But because I would like—I’m being real. Because—

CANDACE CAMERON BURE: Michelle, that’s a horrible thing to say.

COLLINS: No excuse me!

“It’s something I like to call keeping it 100 on The View, like [inaudible].  Then more so than that, just to see and show what a hypocrite he would be, if it is true cause it’s alleged. But you know, he’s such a guy about family values, you know, and he lives by this kind of crazy moral code. So I love to watch people like that fall.

CAMERON BURE: Crazy moral code? Michelle, crazy moral code? He lives by Christian values from what he says he does and that’s a crazy moral code?

“Crazy moral code?!” Bure said, pushing back strongly against the insinuation that Christian values are “crazy.”

Collins quickly backtracked, telling Bure, “You have a point, actually.” But she also repeated her desire to see Cruz be proven to be a cheater.

“…I love you but I am so disagreeing with you,” Bure responded. “I can’t find the humor in that. I don’t find satisfaction in seeing anybody be ruined. I want to believe the best in people.”

“Candace is a better person than me,” Collins replied. “Someone like Ted Cruz, I would like to see him fall personally. He’s not a good guy.”

What @michcoll is saying is that #tedcruz not practicing what he preaches validates that conservatives are not always conservative#theview
