Marian Rivera takes home Female TV Star of the Year award at PEP List Awards
The star of the hit Filipino drama series, Carmela, on the GMA Network took home the Editor’s Choice award for Female TV Star of the Year at the first annual Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP) List Awards Night.
Actress, Marian Rivera, who was very honored, said in her acceptance speech Tuesday night, “Sa lahat po ng bumubuo ng PEP, salamat! Ma’am Jo-Ann [Maglipon], salamat po. Nakakataba po ng puso kung paano niyo po ipinaliwanag si Marian Rivera. Salamat po sa pagtitiwala niyo.”
Translated, she thanked PEP and the editor-in-chief Jo–Ann Maglipon for their confidence in her.
Taking home the Male TV Star of the Year was Vic Sotto. Multi award winners on the night included the always exciting Anne Curtis ( Single Most-read Pep Article, Face of the Year, and Razziest) and the pair, Kim Chiu and Xian Lim.
The first-ever PEP List awards held at the Solaire Resort & Casino.
