‘Man of Steel 2’ already set with David Goyer writing and Zack Snyder directing
Positive “buzz” and fan excitement for Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel has resulted in the early confirmation that a sequel will follow.
Warner Bros will move forward with the writer/director team of David S. Goyer and Snyder will return as the creative team behind the sequel.
Producer and story contributor Christopher Nolan is also expected to return in some fashion for the follow-up, but not to the extent to which he was involved on Man of Steel.
As Deadline also reports, Nolan will be involved with the Justice League film plotted for the future with Superman at the center.
Snyder mentioned the possible sequel to Man of Steel during a recent interview with Colliver, responding to a question about returning for a Justice League film, Snyder said: “I feel like you need to get Superman a little further down the road before you can do a Justice League movie.”
Fans will be happy to hear that the studio is reportedly confirming the sequel’s development.
