M Night Shyamalan pleased with ‘gracious’ reaction to ‘Glass’ screening for distributors
Writer/director M. Night Shyamalan screened 12 minutes of Glass for his distributors and seems quite pleased by the “gracious” reaction to the movie preview footage.
“Just came back from LA where I showed 12mins of #Glass to @UniversalPics & @DisneyStudios . Very very gracious reaction. #comicbookthriller”

Glass, the sequel to both Unbreakable and Split, will arrive in theaters next year.
M. Night fans are very excited about the project, calling for a sequel to Unbreakable for years, and even more juiced after the Split ending set up a tie-in to the other film.
Screen Rant brilliantly summarized: “Split’s villain The Horde was featured in an early script draft for Unbreakable, but was removed by Shyamalan when he realized that the character didn’t quite fit into the story. He then planned to use him in a more direct sequel, before ultimately writing a screenplay based around the character because he loved the concept so much. While Split’s tag scene with Bruce Willis was always intended to tease a sequel, it was only after the movie became a huge success that Glass was put into production”
Bruce Willis, Samuel L. Jackson, James McAvoy, and Anya Taylor-Joy are all set to reprise their key roles from the other films.
Sarah Paulson (The Post) will also feature in a key role while Spencer Treat Clark and Charlayne Woodard will reprise their roles from Unbreakable.
