Las Vegas carnage: At least 20 dead at country music festival
Tragedy hit the Las Vegas strip Monday morning as what appears to be a lone shooter apparently using an automatic weapons opened fire at concert goers at the Route 91 Harvest festival on the east side of the strip, across the street from the Mandalay Bay hotel.

During the final performance by Jason Aldean of the 3-day country music festival rapid fire gunfire rained down from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay.
According to Clark County Sheriff’s Office this morning, more than 20 people have been killed and more than 100 have been injured, including off-duty police attending the concert. The shooter has been killed.
The identification of the shooter has not been released but it is known that he is a local resident. Police are looking for the shooter’s roommate identified as Mary Lou Danley for questioning.
Tens of thousands of people were attending the concert festival. The investigation is fluid and ongoing.
