KB talks Winter Jam, ‘Today We Rebel,’ writing music and making time for family

Winter Jam rolled along as America’s biggest Christian music tour, touting an all-star lineup: Skillet, Kari Jobe, Building 429, KB, Jordan Feliz, host Newsong and four other artists.

Tampa’s KB is on tour and spoke with Brandon Jones about the Winter Jam, beginning with the fact that he loves that “The culture and philosophy of tour is family…which extends all the way to the audience” and explains how “it’s a tour of legacy” being around for years.

Winter Jam is one of the biggest tours in America and thousands of Christian music fans pack arenas around the country for the biggest names in the business.

KB talks about his new album, “Today We Rebel,” the hot single “Not Today Satan” and how he writes all of the time on his Iphone, “writing pretty regularly,” “listening to beats” and the talks HGA.

“HGA stands for ‘His Glory Alone'” he explains, pointing to the true meaning of having it on his merchandise: “I want HGA to be on everything. It represents who I am…I want His Glory Alone to be the objective of everything I produce.”

KB is also enjoying the success of two incredible music videos: “Oh God Forgive Us” with For King & Country and “Prove It” with Crowder.

The lineup for Winter Jam is jammed  packed, but tickets are only $15 at the door.
