Kathy Griffin attacks Anderson Cooper as a ‘spineless heiress’

Comedian Kathy Griffin lashed out at CNN anchor Anderson Cooper for failing to defend her during the backlash for the released photo with a fake Donald Trump severed bloody head.

During an interview with the Daily Beast, Griffin outlined her feud with celebrity lawyer Lisa Bloom when Griffin called Cooper a “spineless heiress,” a jab she says she lifted “from my gays.”

The Beast never pressed the celebrity if that was a homophobic statement in remark.

Cooper is a member of the Vanderbilt family, the son of fashion designer Gloria Vanderbilt, thus the “heiress” part. The “spineless” adjective refers to Cooper siding with CNN and most of the media over Griffin’s “joke” against Trump.

Cooper Tweeted at the time:  “For the record, I am appalled by the photo shoot Kathy Griffin took part in. It is clearly disgusting and completely inappropriate.”

Griffin attacked Bloom over her “astronomical” legal fees and Bloom’s “attention-whoring,” claiming Bloom essentially bilked her out of thousands of dollars and “exacerbated” her situation with Donald Trump.

Bloom fired back Tuesday, saying her version of events differs dramatically from Griffin’s.

Chelsea Clinton called the photo “vile and wrong.”

Griffin initially defended herself after the photo surfaced, but then later apologized profusely in a video posted on Twitter.

“I sincerely apologize,” she said. “I’m a comic. I cross the line. I move the line and then I cross it. I went way too far. The image is way too disturbing.”

Then after, Griffin recanted her apology, attacking President Trump yet again.
