‘Jurassic Park 4’ moves ahead as Spielberg seeks Chris Hemsworth for ‘Robopocalypse’

Steven Spielberg will be in post-production on “Lincoln,” the biopic starring Daniel Day-Lewis as the famous president, so the “Jaws” director will begin prepping for his next projects: directing “Robopocalyse” and producing “Jurassic Park 4.”

While promoting “The Bourne Legacy,” producer Frank Marshall has confirmed that “Jurassic Park 4” should come to theaters in 2014, expressing excitement over the advancements in visual effects.

That’s what’s gonna be great about it, technology’s taken a leap now that we can really do some great things,” Marshall said.

Meahwhile, Spielberg has let it be known that “Thor” and “Avengers” star Chris Hemsworth may be tapped to lead the “Robopocalypse” adaptation. According to Deadline, Spielberg wants Chris Hemsworth to fill those shoes and while there is no official offer on the table yet, but Hemsworth has proven himself as a credible and charismatic.
