Joslyn Martinez identified as dead woman found along Texas highway
Police have identified the body of the woman found along a Texas highway Monday morning.
Joslyn Ann Martinez, age 22, was found along South State Highway 121 and police are calling it a “suspicious death,” says Captain Jay Powell, a spokesperson for the Lewisville Police Department.
A passerby first spotted the body along the 3000 block of SH 121 early Monday. Officers responded at about 7:30 a.m., and found a dead woman, Powell stated.
No cause of death has been determined but the autopsy will be performed this week, so more details are likely to be released very soon.
Lewisville police are asking for information related to “this suspicious death,” per a Monday morning statement. Anyone with information is asked to call the department’s tips line at 972-219-8477 or the Denton County CrimeStoppers at 800-388-8477.
