Joshua Reddin Julian Mcknight and Lloyd Khemradj Beating 13-year-old becomes latest viral video

Trapped on the floor between the bus seats, a 13-year-old boy cried out as he received punched after vicious kick from the three bigger, older youths.

teen attacked Florida busThe driver of the Florida school bus alerted the dispatcher, pleading for aid, but offered nothing to physically help the teen.

UPDATE: ACLU and other civil rights groups still silent on the case – more here

Joshua Reddin, Julian McKnight, and Lloyd Khemradj, all 15 years old, were arrested a short time later.

The bus driver, at least according to his school’s policy, did nothing wrong. “Get somebody here quick,” he said.

The attack took place July 9 in Pinellas County, Florida. But the horrific cell phone video — and the surveillance video are both just now available.

As the boy is pummeled, the bus driver John Moody yells at the assailants to leave the boy alone.

He also asks dispatchers to send help.

“You gotta get somebody here quick, quick, quick, quick,” he says. “They’re about to beat this boy to death over here.”

“Please get somebody here quick. There’s still doing it,” he adds. “There’s nothing I can do.”

Moody, 64, says he was too afraid to step in.

“The three boys just jumped on him and started pounding on him. And I did all can,” he told CNN affiliate WFLA. “I was looking. It was like I was in shock. I was petrified.”

The 13-year-old was left with two black eyes and a broken arm.

All three teens are charged with aggravated battery. Reddin is also charged with unarmed robbery.  All three have been released from police custody.

“There was clearly an opportunity for him to intervene and or check on the welfare of the children or the child in this case and he didn’t make any effort to do so,” Chief Robert Vincent of Gulfport Police Department told the affiliate.

Interesting to note, nothing was mentioedn of the victim being white. Certainly not by MSNBC or other liberal media outlets, had this been 3 whites beating a young black man, it would be front page news and Jesse and Al would be on every news station.

    (1) Sure, blame the 64-year-old bus driver. HE is the only one responsible for the actions of 3 thugs, right?

    (2) In the “google news” section, you can type in “julian mcknight” and you’ll get other news reports where the father of 1 of the thugs is reported as saying :

“ All I can say [ re my son ] is he’s had his consequences already, you know?” McKnight said. “ We’re sorry what happened to the victim, but that’s just the way it is. My son ain’t never been no bad person, he just got mixed [up] with bad people, that’s all … He’s sorry. ”

    (3) Yep, Florida, “that’s just the way it is” … the father of 1 of the thugs said so himself. Defend yourself against a thug? You’ll be prosecuted both criminally AND civilly, and you’ll spend years … and HUNDREDS of thousands of dollars of your own money … defending yourself in various courts of law. Or don’t defend yourself against a thug? Then you’ll end up with at least broken bones, if not WORSE. Because … “that’s just the way it is”. Don’t like it? Well, too bad: it’s none of your business; you’re not calling the shots. Your job is to just keep working and keep paying your taxes and keep your mouth SHUT, thank you very much. What, you thought you had any say in all this?
