Josh Henderson promises the rest of ‘Dallas’ season 3 to be ‘explosive’ ‘ridiculous’
Dallas fans are excited as the third season of the hit TNT show will be back next week. Star Josh Henderson promised big things for the second half the season.
“It’s crazy! Every episode is explosive and ridiculous and our fans are going to love it. Everything they love about Dallas, the last eight episodes or seven episodes I guess, it’s like a roller coaster the entire time,” he says.
Henderson played in the 3rd Annual Josh Hutcherson Celebrity Basketball Game on Friday, an event put on to support the Straight But Not Narrow organization. When we asked Henderson why it was important for him to support the event he told Celebuzz, “Josh (Hutcherson) and I have been buddies for a long time and I know this is a big deal to him. I came last year and it’s just such a great cause and at the end of the day, we want people to be happy in their own skin and not feel uncomfortable with who they are. It’s all about equality and being who you are, so I’m all about that. I get to meet people in this industry that come from all walks of life, and my fans are from all walks of life, and I want them all to be comfortable with who they are, so I love supporting this.”
“The whole season only takes place in about 22 days,” Executive Producer Cynthia Cidre said. “The next episode is basically the hospital where Sue Ellen is taken for smoke inhalation and Pamela’s there because of the overdose, so it’s sort of a hospital episode. It’s really good. Episode 9, 10, 11, they got better because all of our stories start to come together and climax.”
Seven new episodes will be coming to TNT with Melinda Clarke (The O.C.) joining the cast as Tracy Lawton beginning with the September 3 episode.
The other remaining episodes are titled: “Dead Reckoning,” “Hurt,” “Victims of Love” followed by “Boxed In,” “Endgame” and the season 3 finale “Brave New World,” which just sounds like a jump to a season 4.
The Dallas reboot stars Henderson, Jesse Metcalfe, Patrick Duffy, Linda Gray, Jordana Brewster, Julie Gonzalo and Brenda Strong.
The show will be returning on Monday, August 18 at 9/8c with all new episodes.
