Josh Gad wraps ‘Beauty and the Beast’ with Luke Evans photo
Josh Gad has wrapped his part in Disney’s live-action adaptation of Beauty and the Beast and the Wedding Ringer star posted a farewell address, praising his co-star Luke Evans.
“That’s a wrap! Will miss the cast of #beautyandthebeast especially my brilliant Gaston #LukeEvans”
Gad, who plays Le Fou, alongside his evil boss Luke Evans, who’s much kinder looking than he probably will be as Gaston.
This will be the latest in a series of Disney projects adapting animated favorites into live-action films, following the success of Alice in Wonderland and Cinderella.
Harry Potter star Emma Watson will bring the lovely Belle to life opposite Dan Stevens’ Beast. Stevens is famous for his role as Matthew Crawley on Downton Abbey.
The comical duo of Lumiere and Cogsworth will have Ian McKellen (Gandalf in the LOTR and Hobbit films) and Ewan McGregor (Obi-Wan in the three Star Wars prequels) as voice actors.
Other voice actors/stars are Stanley Tucci, Emma Thompson, Kevin Kline, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sonoya Mizuno, Hattie Morahan, Audra McDonald,Nicole O’Neill and Henry Garrett
Beauty and the Beast is set for a theatrical release on March 17, 2017.
