Jon Stewart hysterically blasts Obamacare website, the ‘glitches’ and speech VIDEO
Democrats needed only a “mildly competent implementation” of Obamacare to soar in the polls and toss Republicans out of office, “The Daily Show’s” Jon Stewart began.
The 10-minute spoof of the Obamacare website mocked the Obama administration, the rumored primitive software, the long delays, error messages and more…asking ‘How with the Democrats spin this turd?”
One of the best moments is when the “glitches” reportedly list spouses as children prompting this Stewart gag.
“”What kind of computer program forces you to marry your own children?”
Stewart mocked the Delaware woman mentioned as evidence of the ACA benefits after seven days of trying to sign up and then concluded with a Tron riff.
Stewart also made fun of Obama’s “Glengarry Glen Ross closer spiel” appearance on Monday defending the site while repeatedly describing health care as a “product.”
“When did the president of the United States turn into Gil from The Simpsons?” Stewart asked while face-palming.
But it was more of a worry for Stewart to hear Obama use the term “tech surge” to describe the reported influx of IT pros called in to help remedy the website’s issues.
“A surge?” Stewart demanded. “Your website is so f*cked we have to use the same strategy we used to salvage the Iraq war?”
“Aren’t those supposed to be zeros and ones?”
“It’s all fours and fives here , Jon.”
