John Boyega’s Finn stars in new ‘Star Wars The Force Awakens’ TV spot
Han, Chewie, and Leia are all back with fans getting snippets of what they will look like in Star Wars: The Force Awakens with Luke’s role still a mysterious. This clip focuses on Finn, played by John Boyega.
The new Star Wars: The Force Awakens Finn spot debuted on Facebook, with the caption “Every generation has a story. Here’s Finn’s.”
One big reveal is the lightsaber use, which Finn uses to attack a Stormtrooper and may imply that these weapons are more commonplace thirty years later after Return of the Jedi.
Fans will be excited by the dialogue.
The Finn spot alludes to his history, as it begins with him saying, “You don’t know a thing about me,” but no real concrete details. Han Solo asks him, “Are you sure you’re up for this?” answers with a very honest “Hell no.”
Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Peter Mayhew, Anthony Daniels and Kenny Baker all return from the original trilogy to reprise their role with new stars: Daisy Ridley, Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Domhnall Gleeson, Andy Serkis, Max von Sydow, Lupita Nyong’o and Gwendoline Christie.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens in theaters on Friday, December 18.
