Jeremey Renner and Gemma Arterton may return for ‘Hansel & Gretel’ sequel

The action-horror movie, Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters,  starring Gemma Arterton and Jeremy Renner, has a follow-up in the works from studios Paramount and MGM.

Once the film crossed the $200 million worldwide box office figure, the news was announced. The $50 million-budgeted film opened in cinemas earlier this year and earned $54 million at the US box office.

As of this weekend, the Tommy Wirkola-directed film has earned $205.8 million.

Reps for both stars confirmed with The Global Dispatch that the scripts will be key and will be reviewed by the actor.
