Dick Van Dyke is recovering well after he was rescued from his burning sports car on the 101 Freeway in Los Angeles on Monday afternoon.

Van Dyke required no medical treatment and was not issued a citation. The Jaguar didn’t fair as well, exploding at some point, leaving the star to turn to humor with a tweet.

“Used Jag for sale REAL CHEAP!!” he tweeted, along with a photo of the car’s blackened, partially melted skeleton.

Van Dyke’s wife, Arlene, tweeted that the star was OK after the incident, the Los Angeles Times reported.

She included a Vine video of the aftermath that shows the burned-out shell of the car and Van Dyke talking with officers from the California Highway Patrol.
