Speichinger, 40 of Meadville, was leaving the residence, and was shot by McKinney. McKinney tried to get into the home from the rear of the home, and was detected by the home owner.

Police responded after calls of shots fired in the 500 block of Western Drive. They arrived to find male subjects in the backyard of the residence, both of whom were suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
