Produced by Evil Dead director Sam Raimi, director Gil Kenan will adapt the story for a contempory 2014 audience. During recent interview with Beyond the Trailer about his latest film The Quiet Ones, Harris stated that “Poltergeist is in 3D, this movie’s (The Quiet Ones) not in 3D.”
Harris stars alongside Sam Rockwell, Rosemarie DeWitt and Saxon Sharbino as a character named Carrigan Burke. The production ended back in March and the few details fans know are as follows.
Rockwell ( Iron Man 2) will play Eric Bowen, whose daughter Madison is kidnapped by supernatural and stuck in limbo between life and death forces.
“In a scene in the new movie , children find some objects in the attic . Yes , you guessed it – they are some of the belongings of the first family film , intentionally left behind . There are bed sheets (Star Wars from Robbie’s room) , a television in black and white (of course ! ) And some Christmas decorations,” Brazil’s cinepop’s article summarizes.
