Marcus Langford, 16, is also charged with first-degree murder and second-degree unlawful possession of a firearm and has pleaded not guilty to both counts.

Stimson has pleaded not guilty and is being held on $2 million bail.

Authorities report that the teens came across Watson in the parking lot of a convenience store while Watson was searching for his lost dog. There was a confrontation caught on surveillance tape, Stimson shot Watson and both teens took off running.

The camera recording shows the two asked for money, and when David Watson handed them $5, they demanded more, investigators said.

Watson then got into his pickup truck, which ran off the road after a few blocks. He found but died at the hospital.

Tacoma police have been searching for Stimson who was found about 4 a.m. Sunday at a home he was known to frequent, police spokesman Mark Fulghum said.
